Hi guys!
I got some Bluetooth headsets for Christmas. problem is, I have no idea if it is charged or not. how could I tell?
Well, if it is working it is charged.
That isn't a smart assed remark.
If you pair it with your phone, you can tell too.
You look at the specs. If he claims it will work on a charge for say 4 hours, you sort of keep that in mind.
I'd just plug it up any time I wasn't using it.
If you do that, when you are ready to use it, it will be charged.
ok, thanks. :) yeah, I looked and on my phone it said it was at 70 percent. neph said it was beeping and I was like, probably needs charge.
Yeah, the one neat thing about the iPhone when you connect a Bluetooth headset to it is it will tell you the headset's battery power. Maybe Android can do that too, I don't know but that's the best way to tell what the charge is at if the headset doesn't tell you. The one I have actually tells me how charged my battery is when I turn it on. It says "power on" "battery high/medium/low". It's a commercially available headset, too!
ah, that's nice! yeah, and even if I plug it in, it's hard to tell if it's really charging or not.
It gets slightly warmer when it is charging.
Some hum a bit.
What kind do you have Sia?
I think it's skullcandy. At least, when I saw them online, that's what it said.
Has anyone gotten the airpods? I am suppose to get mine in a few weeks.
Incidentally, most Bluetooth headsets that I'm aware of also don't turn on while they're charging, too. So, that's a good indication if you don't have any other indications to go on.
Weird, my phone doesn't tell me the headset's battery status.
Some, not all do.
